COVID-19 is having a major impact on patients, healthcare staff, and health systems in Europe. In response, EU4Health will provide €5.1 billion investment over seven years to make health systems more resilient.

Building a European Health Union for stronger EU preparedness and response for health crises (29 January 2021, 10:15-11.45 CET)
On 11 November 2020 the Commission put forward three proposals for tackling future health crises, based on lessons learnt from the coronavirus pandemic. The crisis response package marks the first step towards a European Health Union.

This webinar offers an opportunity to learn about the proposals in detail and hear the political perspective on a more coordinated crisis response from Commissioner Kyriakides.
