Why Organ Donation Matters to Us All: EP Conference, 18th February 2019

date:  24/01/2019

The EU-funded project EUDONORGAN will hold its next conference titled Why Organ Donation Matters to Us All on Monday, 18 February in Brussels. The event will be hosted by the European Parliament in collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Health.

The conference will bring together patients, advocacy groups, leading professionals and transplant authorities for a unique exchange of views on their common aim: increasing organ donation and transplantation in the EU. The organizers invite journalists interested in organ donation and transplantation to attend the event.

This is one of six EU-funded awareness raising events being held across the EU to increase interest and support for organ donation among health professionals and the general public.

The event will be followed by a short commemoration for deceased donors in Belgium, in front of the BELDONOR bus on the esplanade of the European Parliament.

More information about the event and the registration procedure is included in the preliminary agenda. Please note that space is limited and registrations will be accepted on first-come-first-served basis.
