The launch of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union

The Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the priorities of the upcoming Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU which will take place from 1st July to 31 December 2025. The slogan of the Danish presidency will be “Strong Europe in a Changing World”.

The two main priorities for the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU are a secure Europe and a competitive and green Europe.

After a brief review of the main achievements under the Polish Presidency by Mr Rafal Hykawy, chargé d’affaires a.i. at the Embassy of Poland, H.E. Ms Susanne Shine, Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the Holy See, will provide further information on the ambitious programme aiming to drive the EU agenda forward.
