If so, you are invited to apply for the 2024 edition of the Commission’s #EUinMyRegion media trip programme. The call is open till Monday, 8 January 2024, at 17:00 CET.
The programme is open to regional & local journalists and content creators in the EU and includes a two-day study trip to Brussels. Participants will visit the EU institutions and see the workings of the EU first-hand, learn more about our various structures and procedures, and delve into the topic of Cohesion Policy and the EU’s handling of fraud and the mismanagement of funds. The visit is also a unique opportunity to explore the Commission’s data tools and speak directly with country experts.
After the programme, participants will have acquired a better understanding of EU policies, particularly Cohesion Policy. They will also have made new contacts & connections with fellow journalist from other countries and regions.
The first study trip is scheduled for 19-22 March 2024, with two more trips planned for April and May. Each study trip is expected to include around 40 journalists and content creators from the EU Member States. Apply now.
