What Europeans Want from Their Cities
|
|
As Europe’s population grows more urban, the challenges and expectations of people living in cities, towns, suburbs, and rural areas are evolving—and diverging. A new Eurobarometer survey reveals how spatial context shapes what Europeans see as the most urgent problems and most effective solutions, from affordable housing and public services to climate resilience and local democracy. The results highlight a clear call: to bridge these divides, EU policy must continue to invest in tailored, place-based approaches that put people and their communities at the centre.
