The 21st European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) – the biggest event dedicated to EU Cohesion policy – took place in Brussels from 9-12 October to discuss challenges facing regions and cities, and solutions.

The Regional Competence Center (RCC) in Tourism and Hospitality opened its doors in Zabok. Zabok High School has successfully completed the project titled "Regional Competence Center in Tourism and Hospitality Zabok."

Last week, the European Commission and Bulgaria inaugurated the country’s first Centre for Scientific Excellence in the Field of Plant Biology and Biotechnology. The EU co-financed the development of the centre with €13 million from the ERDF and €13 million from the Horizon 2020 programme.
