Starting today, the MyPMO single phone number +32 229 11111 is available for questions on sickness insurance, pensions, salaries, allowances, missions, and all other topics managed by the Paymaster Office (PMO).  All previous PMO phone lines by topic, unit, or location are no longer operational. In the next two months, calls to these lines will be automatically redirected to the MyPMO single phone number.

Put into place to facilitate addressing the needs of all users of the PMO’s services in more than 60 EU institutions, agencies, and other bodies, and nearly 30,000 EU pensioners, this single phone number is at your disposal in English and French, every working day, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m

The purpose of the MyPMO single phone number is to respond to urgent and complex cases where the expertise and advice of PMO teams are most needed, thus complementing information made available in writing on our webpages or via other contact options.

Before calling the MyPMO single phone number, please first check the Staff Matters Portal, which holds detailed and practical information on all topics. Via Staff Matters Portal, you also have access to Staff Contact where you can submit questions in writing.

How does the Single Phone Number work?

We built a single phone number, considering our clients' needs. When you dial it, you will be asked to select the language (English or French) and then be presented with eight topics. Ordered by the number of incoming calls on each topic so far, on 1 you will find sickness insurance, for which the highest number of calls were received in 2023, followed by pensions, family benefits, entry into service and others.

You do not need to hear out all the options; you can immediately select the topic of your choice. Select 1 for health insurance, 2 for pensions, or 3 for family and school allowances. For questions on EU Login, choose number 7. This will guide you to the PMO’s IT team for any problems you may have with your EU Login account.

What makes the MyPMO single phone number special?

When you call the MyPMO single phone number, you will be guided through the various options by PMO colleagues’ voices. It is PMO colleagues who will handle your call. It is their experience and the use you have made of our call centres so far that defined the concept of the single phone number. Based on your needs and feedback, we will continue to adapt and improve it.
