date:  29/06/2023

In 2023, we are looking to make some significant improvements in some of our horizontal tasks and services. The goal is to harmonise, simplify and centralise as much as possible our working methods and the processes behind the tools we use. Such efforts are necessary in order to prepare for the corporate transformation programmes: HR Transformation (HRT) and SUMMA.

  • One such project at the level of the PMO, we are configuring a single, dedicated telephone number for our helpdesks, to facilitate the ease at which our clients can access our services. The latest details about this project can be found on the following page.
  • The PMO’s data team is also developing some interesting and useful dashboards to improve the visualisation of our data.
  • On a corporate level, we are preparing for the move of MyIntraComm, which includes My PMO, to Sharepoint Online. This is expected to take effect in the later half of the year. Follow this page here to stay informed about the latest information related to this project.
  • Our MIPS tool has some exciting updates in the works, ready to be going into production. Read the dedicated article below for more information.
  • The world of HRT evolves with changes coming for Staff Matters Portal, the processes related to Preselection, Selection and Recruitment (PSR), and the Onboarding process. Read the dedicated article below to find out more about these projects.
  • Finally, the work related to SUMMA, the Commission’s new accounting tool replacing ABAC, has gone through an intense journey up until this moment. This will continue to be the case before the goal to go into production in Jan 2024 is realised. Read the dedicated article below.
