Secure Passwords

Nowadays, we need to use passwords to access any of our online accounts or IT applications to complete our daily work. With so many passwords building up, it can become difficult to remember and manage them all effectively.

Keeping your passwords secure is of utmost importance. Setting strong passwords will protect our personal information and stop cyber-attackers from accessing our personal accounts.

Did you know that a password manager is available in the EC Store? It is called KeePass and it can help you to track each of the passwords that you currently have saved. However, before using this tool, keep in mind that:

  • All of your passwords in KeePass are only as secure as the KeePass master password. Set a strong master password!
  • Your KeePass master password is not known by EC IT teams, therefore, there is no back up. If you forget your master password, you will not have access.

Read the tips available here to know how to create and maintain secure passwords.
