Through the calculation of salaries and pensions, the fixing of individual rights, or the reimbursement of medical claims, mission’s expenses and expert meetings, the PMO is responsible for handling a large number of personal data on a daily basis. As a result, data protection must be a principle and practice of the utmost importance in order to prevent data breaches in our work.

As such, the PMO LAW team in collaboration with PMO.6 will organise a Knowledge Exchange Hour on the topic of Data Protection. This session will focus on the interplay between IT Security and Data Protection in the context of the PMO business. The session will be organised on 10^th March.

Starting with a brief overview of the current application of IT Security and Data protection in the PMO, the presenters will share real-life incidents that occurred within the PMO over the last few months along with the response that was used to resolve the issues.

In addition, you will learn different ways of detecting phishing attacks, how to best protect your personal and professional information to prevent such attacks, what steps should and shouldn’t be followed in case of a data breach, and much more!
