Continue Accessing Important Applications After Your Retirement or Unemployment

The project EU Login For Life (EUL4L) allows some colleagues who are registered in SYSPER to continue accessing important applications after their end of service or end of contract with their current EU Login account. Make sure you are EUL4L-ready today!

date:  22/11/2022

Did you know that pensioners of the Commission and the Council will be able to continue using JSIS Online, Staff Contact, Staff Matters Portal, My Intracomm, My Remote as well as Sysper Post Activity after the end of your service using your current EU Login? The same goes for unemployed former staff, who have the right to an unemployment allowance and who had access to Sysper at their last place of employment.

This is a great benefit as you can continue to make use of the PMO’s services through your existing EU Login once you leave the service!

Make sure you are EUL4L-ready!

Be EUL4L ready now so that when you reach your end of service or end of contract, you won’t have to worry about setting it up. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Enter SYSPER and go to your personal details page called ‘addresses’.
  2. Click ‘Change my private telecoms’ and enter your private email and phone number. Make sure the box underneath titled ‘EUL4L' is ticked.

  1. Enter the codes sent to your phone number and email address to validate your details. Click save at the bottom of the page once have completed these steps.

Back on the ‘addresses’ page, you will now see a green check mark beside both your private email address and phone number. Now you are EUL4L ready!

Be aware EUL4L is at the moment only available for certain populations:

  • Pensioners: only EC and Council who have filled out a Pension Request in Sysper (not those put on retirement by a decision of HR)
  • Unemployed: only those who have the right to an unemployment allowance and who had access to Sysper in the last organisation they worked

Gradually, more and more populations will be added to then EUL4L project. You can find the latest information about this on the this Staff Matters page.
