Since January, this new team brings together colleagues who are specialists of the PMO’s IT applications, once dispersed across the different units.

This team was born out of one observation: There needs to be a strong link between the colleagues of PMO, the teams (and their business needs) and DIGIT, but also to put in place synergies between the applications/units of PMO.

What is the role of the team?

Analysing the needs, this is first and foremost understanding what our colleagues do on a daily basis and translating this into a clear and technical “language” so that the developers can make these tools adapted to the needs and especially functional.

How is this done?

Firstly, by listening! To develop IT tools is above anything else to consult the users.

Next, analysis! A mockup, a user story or a flow chart is much better to create than having long discussions.

A key word = adaptability to the users!

But their purpose doesn’t end there.

Coordinating the testing sessions before the deployment of the tools is also an essential role. Why? Because well done tests mean fewer bugs.

And finally, sharing knowledge! The team presents the new features of the tools to the users, assures the flow of contact between all the participants at each stage of development, this is also the challenge of the Business Quality team!
