[Reminder] - Follow LIVE our two-day NEB conference at Expo 2025 Osaka

We are only a few days ahead of our two-day conference “NEB goes to Osaka: From vision to practice: Towards beautiful, sustainable and inclusive living spaces”, taking place on 30 and 31 May as part of the NEB’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka.

Day 1: Friday, 30 May 2025, 08:00–11:00 (CEST) / 15:00–18:00 (JST)

The first day of the conference explores the intersection of sustainability, architecture, and urban policy, fostering EU-Japan collaboration. Experts will exchange insights on integrating traditional and modern building practices, addressing urban transformation, and strengthening connections between nature and architecture.

In the spotlight: A video message by EU Commissioner Jessika Roswall and a keynote speech by Claire Renard and Jean-Sébastien Blanc, the designer duo behind the Studio 5.5 collective.

Day 2: Saturday, 31 May 2025, 08:00–10:00 (CEST) / 15:00–17:00 (JST)

The second day highlights future skills, creative education, and sustainable design as foundations for resilient, inclusive living. Led by experts from Europe and Japan, it fosters cultural exchange, connects professionals, and paves the way for new collaborations within the NEB Academy network.

In the spotlight: A keynote speech by Sou Fujimoto, architect, founder and principal of Sou Fujimoto Architects, Japan.
