NEBbyAYR is a social movement led by young people to transform cities based on sustainability, inspiring new behaviours and ways of life through arts and technology, in line with the NEB values.

One of the actions of this movement is the creation of Artistic Manifestos for Sustainability, aiming to raise awareness and enhance sustainable habits. With the support of teachers, students with 13-14 years old have created manifesto-posters that convey their messages for building sustainable, inclusive and beautiful cities. Forum theatre sessions held in schools have promoted the debate on topics associated with sustainability and helped to construct these messages.

A group of artists worked with students to transform their ideas into posters, using visual arts. The manifesto-posters are displayed on cities’ urban furniture to inspire citizens to integrate sustainable practices into their daily life.

The final event of the initiative is scheduled for 15 June 2024 in Matosinhos (Portugal). Moore information: BE THE CHANGE | CEiiA
