/

date:  16/04/2024

On 11 April, during the NEB Festival, Iliana Ivanova, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, officially launched the New European Bauhaus Academy Alliance (NEBA Alliance).

The NEBA Alliance is led by the Slovenian University of Primorska and is comprised of 14 partners. A flagship initiative of the European Year of Skills, the New European Bauhaus Academy aims to give a decisive push for new skills and education across all levels of the construction sector. It will focus on the NEB values of sustainability, aesthetics and inclusiveness, and support the implementation of the European Green Deal, accelerating the fair and green transformation of the building sector.

Over the next years, the Academy will bring together educational and training professionals and connect local and regional hubs across Europe. These hubs will offer tailored and high-quality co-created training services, curricula, and programmes on sustainable construction solutions via a digital platform.

To ensure consolidation, growth and greater coverage both across and beyond Europe, the NEBA Alliance will call for new satellite hubs to join in and contribute with training content. Do not hesitate to reach out to us to connect to the Alliance!
