/

date:  12/02/2024

Financed under the LIFE programme, the project aims to promote building decarbonization, enhance circularity in construction, and address barriers to wood and bio-based materials adoption. Through capacity-building tools, it targets educating wood sector professionals and engaging local stakeholders, residents, and academics in reimagining living spaces. The project prioritizes social housing for the elderly and vulnerable, striving to meet market demands, streamline the local supply chain, and evaluate the environmental advantages of wood and bio-based materials in construction.

The project consortium is led by the Università degli studi di Genova, and other project partners include University of Primorska, Regione Liguria, ART-ER-Società consortile per azioni, Università degli Studi di Firenze, FederlegnoArredo, Comité Européen de Coordination de l’habitat Social, and Politechnika Wroclawska.
