Housing Europe and Marcos Ros Sempere, Member of the European Parliament, invite you to attend a discussion to learn about the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD) directive and its potential for positive social impact. This framework, which is in its final stages of improvements, will be crucial to achieving the fair energy transition that aims to renovate 4 million homes by 2030. 

The event will present best practices from Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Social, Cooperative Housing, as well as a series of policy recommendations from the capacity building programme of the European Affordable Housing Initiative (SHAPE-EU). In light of widespread housing crises and the current threats of climate change, the society is in greater need than ever of an interdisciplinary re-imagining of housing systems for the future.
