The Living Summer School is seeking participants from Italy, Belgium, France and The Netherlands for its 2023 programme Living Makeshifts. They’re looking for young people between 18 and 30 who would like to generate a sustainable and meaningful impact on the region of Southwest Flanders. Applicants are not required to be enrolled in a university programme and will benefit from a full scholarship covering all costs.

Selected applicants will work on a societal challenge for a week, designing and building a 1:1 prototype in collaboration with local communities. They will be guided by a team of international architects, researchers, designers, artists and professional makers. Applications are open until the 15 June 2023.
