/

date:  30/05/2023

Europan is a thematic competition of ideas/projects, followed by processes of implementations open to professionals and students (masters) of architecture, landscape and urban design under the age of 40 years. Europan is also a tool for European cities and urban actors to find and develop innovative strategies for their sites in transformation.

This 17th edition of the Europan competition, “Living Cities /2” continues the reflection on the profound change in the manner of envisioning projects in a context of ecological transition. The Brussels site of the competition is Jubilee Park (Parc du Cinquantenaire). A 34-hectare green space in the heart of Brussels, the capital of Europe that is home to several museums, scientific institutions and emblematic buildings will be a flagship project of the New European Bauhaus initiative.

The site visits will be organized on:
✔️ 2 June at 14:00 (CET)
✔️ 3 June at 14:00 (CET)

The meeting point for site visits is under the central arch of the Arcade du Cinquantenaire.

The projects entering the competition must be submitted at the latest on 30 July 2023
