The University of Florence (on behalf of the inter-university network Laboratorio del Cammino) invites students from architecture, landscape, and urban planning courses to apply to the sixth edition of the Summer School WALKRAS. The Summer School will take place in Eastern Italy and Slovenia from 21 August to 2 September 2023.

The aim of WALKRAS is to investigate climate risk in the Italian and Slovenian Karst by practising walking as a research and design method. Participants will be guided to examine the geographies of risk and define planning and design actions and strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change. Summer School’s official languages are Italian and English.
