DESIRE (Designing the Irresistible Circular Society) project is one of the six NEB lighthouse demonstrators. Run by 24 partners from six European countries it aims to set new standards and develops methods for large-scale urban development, renovation and construction. DESIRE works with three themes and taps into eight existing urban transformation projects and living
labs. 

Following an intense period with loads of co-creation sessions and iterations project consortium developed the Desire manifesto and the Desire principles. Next on their agenda is testing how the content can be applied in eight different local contexts.
