Affordable Housing District Demonstrator

The objective of the proposed action is the development of a set of lighthouse affordable housing districts that each have followed a different approach, focussing on one or a combination of different innovative strands. The lighthouse districts should display the application of the New European Bauhaus practices focusing on co-creation with the affected populations as well as on their improved quality of experience (including in terms of aesthetic or cultural meaningfulness) resulting from the renovation and building of social housing districts. 🆕 Associating Ukrainian cities to the Climate-neutral and smart cities Mission 

The call supports the involvement of the EU's cities in the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities. This effort provides a unique opportunity for Ukraine and its cities to combine reconstruction considerations with long-term climate neutrality and sustainability objectives in line with the EU Green Deal, relevant international policy frameworks and the New European Bauhaus initiative. The purpose of this action is to associate more closely Ukrainian cities in the process of transition towards climate neutrality that is being promoted by the Horizon Europe Climate neutral and smart cities Mission. Culture Moves Europe is the mobility scheme for artists and cultural professionals funded under Creative Europe and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. It provides individual mobility and residency grants, covering the sectors included in the CULTURE strand of Creative Europe: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts, and visual arts.
