Mid-November 2022, Commissioner Thierry Breton presented the Transition Pathway on Proximity and Social Economy. NEB community also contributed to the final document through a co-creation process either individually or at the dedicated workshop, we organized in spring. A big thank you to all of you who contributed to the final document that puts forward a set of 30 actions in 14 different areas to further support the social economy in leading fair green and digital transitions

Following the publication, the Commission launched a Call for pledges to stakeholders. The purpose of the call is to collect pledges from stakeholders on the concrete actions that they will take to help achieve the shared action areas identified in the Transition Pathway. The initial deadline to submit pledges is 28 February 2023 as the first stock-taking will take place. However, the call will remain open on a rolling basis.
