With the programme 'A new building culture' the Dutch Board of Government Advisors wants to stimulate biobased and nature-inclusive building. In the entire chain: from the cultivation of biobased crops to application in construction. Biobased and nature-inclusive buildings, with the living soil-water system as a foundation, must grow into the new normal. 

The first design competition within this programme took place in Oirschot, in the South of the Netherlands. The competition was organized by the municipality of Oirschot, in collaboration with Kalliste Woningbouwontwikkeling B.V. and Woonstichting 'thuis.
