NEB - Beyond Human Ecosystems

Three different sessions discussing different facets of New European Bauhaus will take place on 13 October between 9:30 and 13:00 in Aveiro (Portugal). The first one will be dedicated to the NEB Goes South project, the second one will discuss ecosystem living and the third one will address the opportunities of the EIT KIC Culture & Creativity financial instrument to support the cultural and creative industries. The first panel dedicated to the theme NEB Goes South will be moderated by José Pedro Sousa, Professor of the University of Porto and a member of High-level roundtable of experts of the New European Bauhaus. Speakers such as Teresa Calix, University of Porto, Débora Domingo Clabuig, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Mia Roth-Cerina, University of Zagreb will participate in the panel.

The second panel, which will be dedicated to the topic of ecosystem living, will be moderated by Michela Magas, President of the Industry Commons Foundation and a member of High-level roundtable of experts of the New European Bauhaus. This panel will feature speakers such as Markus Reymann, Director TBA 21, Jan Bunge, Squid Opera and BIG and Jan Åman, author of the Duved and Norrlands Model.

Finally, the third panel will be moderated by Bernd Fesel CEO of EIT KIC Culture & Creativity who will address the opportunities of this important European financial instrument to support the cultural and creative industries. This panel has secured the participation of speakers such as Milena Stoycheva, CEO of JA Bulgaria, Isabelle Schwarz, responsible for Public Policy of the European Cultural Foundation and Alejandra Panighi of the Board of Directors of Mediapro.

The closure will have the intervention of José Ribau Esteves, Mayor of Aveiro.
