Looking from a NEB Lab perspective, pitching sessions are the beginning of the journey for future NEB Lab projects.  

We encourage you not overthink, rather use the opportunity to present and discuss them with New European Bauhaus community. 

Pitching session format and idea selection rules:  

• Each pitching session will host a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) pitches. 

• A project idea or a proposal must be submitted using the project fiche form to be eligible for the pitching sessions. Please note, that the minimum requirement to submit the form is to fill in a small number of mandatory questions. 
• A list of ideas and project proposals selected for pitching will be created following the “first come-first serve” principle using the date and time of the project fiche submission. 

Pitching of an idea or a project proposal 

• Each pitch consists of a presentation (up to 10 minutes) and an exchange with the community (up to 10 minutes). 
• The pitch should offer information on the idea or proposal (depending on how elaborated the idea or proposal is at the time of pitching) including the purpose, goals timeline and people behind it.  

• Pitchers are free to select the format of the presentation but are encouraged to make it as captivating as possible. Recordings of pitches will be published on the community platform together with invitation to the community to join the idea or project proposal development.  

Next steps:  

• Pitched ideas and proposals will be presented on the community platform and in a community update to further expand feedback collection and community members’ interest for collaboration. 
• When the project meets NEB Lab’s minimum criteria NEB team will organize a mapping session to further support project development and planning.  
• More meetings with the community will be organised if needed.
