The NJUS has announced a special issue on the sustainability tradeoffs involved in urban transition towards climate neutrality. Contributions are invited to examine value tradeoffs between at least two of the core values of sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion and how multisectoral sustainability goals are translated into fruition in the living environment. Contributions can but do not need to explicitly discuss the NEB vision and methodology. Conceptual articles on relevant frameworks that enable evidence-based decision-making regarding the sustainability tradeoffs are also welcome.
