A new Local Chapter has been established in Sicily, in particular in the metropolitan area of Palermo. 

NEB partners neu [nòi] and Inventare Insieme, with their long standing experience in social innovation, inclusion and community management, are joining forces to regenerate unused spaces in the territory, promoting civic participation and reappropriation. By challenging the current set of stereotypes that are shaping the local imagery the aim is to foster Sicily’s futures literacy.

The newborn Local Chapter will also work to spread NEB values inviting more organizations to become NEB partners or friends. "This way – says Beppe Castellucci, from neu [nòi] – we want to pave the way for the involvement of more organizations in the Local Chapter, in particular from the small villages in the outskirts of the capital Palermo."
