The EU will participate in the World Expo 2025 that will take place in Osaka, Kansai (Japan) between 13 April and 13 October 2025 where aims to display its endeavours in designing a future society that prioritizes green transition, sustainability, connectivity, inclusivity, and security at the upcoming Expo in Osaka in an own pavilion that will showcase a range of activities throughout the event, highlighting the importance of these key policies for its citizens and for people all over the world.

The European Commission has issued a call for tenders for a service contract to ensure the presence of the European Union at the Osaka Expo. The tender is for a service contract that includes the provision of exhibition design, furnishing, fit-out services, staffing, management, and decommissioning of the pavilion. It also covers the organization of EU events during the Expo and related communication activities.
