Call for applications: EURegionsWeek Citizens' Dialogue

What: Citizens’ Dialogue on brain drain and harnessing talent in Europe’s Regions
When: 10 October 2023 19.00-20.00
Venue: SQUARE Convention Centre (Brussels, Belgium)

The European Commission's Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) is looking for young citizens willing to share their experience about brain drain at the EURegionsWeek Citizen’s Dialogue with the European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira.

The call for applications is open to any person that fulfils the two following conditions:
✅ Is a citizen of an EU Member State, or an EU neighbouring country (EU candidate countries - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine; potential candidates - Georgia, Kosovo*; EFTA countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland; the UK)
✅ Is aged between 24 and 35 included

Eligible participants should apply by 28 August at midday by filling in the application form.

The dialogue will preferably be in English, but interpretation will be provided if necessary in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. It will take place in public, in the Gold Hall of the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre and it will be streamed live. 

Please note that DG REGIO will organise the travel of selected participants and accommodation for one night in Brussels.
