Knowledge, agency and care - NEB Stewardship exploring the role of higher education within the NEB

On Tuesday, the 13th of September, almost thirty New European Bauhaus higher education partners gathered to discuss the role of higher education with the initiative. The info session organised by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences first introduced a framework for NEB Stewardship currently under development and co-ideated its further steps via proposing a dedicated NEB Lab project.

"I see here something that the NEB initiative still lacks: the contemplation on the skills needed for actually working with the New European Bauhaus - what are these new competencies we need. As sustainability as a concept is getting bigger and bigger, I would encourage you to have joint exploration on the success criteria for moving from climate anxiety to practical application", commented Vera Winthagen, the NEB Unit's Design Policy Analyst, on the initial plans.

NEB Stewardship team invites interested partners to join the discussions. The idea of the NEB Stewardship Lab will be pitched to the NEB community in 30 September 2022.
