Empowering Lebanese municipalities: the Clima-Med workshop enhanced their capacities in planning and implementing climate projects

On 17 April, representatives of more than 40 Lebanese municipalities, Unions of municipalities, nature reserves and forests representatives joined the workshop organised in Lebanon by the EU-funded Clima-Med project.
The event was held under the auspices of the Minister of Environment, the European Union Delegation in Lebanon, and the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities. It aimed to present Clima-Med’s latest reports and manuals to strengthen municipalities’ capacities to prepare and implement climate projects.
