NEIGHBOURHOOD AND ENLARGEMENT - Civil society actors met in Morocco for the first national meeting of the Civil Society Facility for the Mediterranean (CSF Med)

To kick-start the national engagement activities of the new CSF Med, the EU Delegation to Morocco co-organized a two-day event which gave the opportunity for relevant stakeholder to engage in structured dialogue with civil society at country level.

On 13 and 14 June 2023, the EU Delegation (EUD) in Rabat coorganized a national meeting between the representatives of the regional Civil society facility for the Mediterranean (CSF Med), the regional technical assistance Med Dialogue and the EUD colleagues responsible for the work within 4 topics of the CSF Med: Good governance, human rights and democracy, Economic cooperation, Environment/Climate and Migration. Some 80 representatives of local civil society partners engaged in constructive discussions.
