NEIGHBOURHOOD AND ENLARGEMENT - EuroMeSCo releases the Joint Policy Study: Towards a Renewed Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation on Sustainable Agri-Food Systems for Food Security in the Region

Written under the coordination of Marko Lovec, the new Policy Study of the EuroMeSCo project explores the state of play of cooperation in the field of agriculture in the Mediterranean region and makes policy proposals in this regard.

This Policy Study proposes a Euro-Mediterranean blueprint for sustainable agricultural and food systems with six pillars to foster resilience.

It calls for enhanced regional cooperation, involvement of Southern Mediterranean countries in EU initiatives, increased climate funding, reengagement in regional trade negotiations, research and innovation partnerships, and the promotion of unifying narratives.
