During a series of conferences and trainings, EUD focal points from over 130 countries covering INTPA and NEAR regions shared experiences from the ground working on human rights, civil society, gender and youth initiatives. Trainings focusing on these four different strands were also provided.

On 14 March, the regional day allowed focal points from NEAR regions' EUDs to meet and to discuss these topics from the perspective of the neighbourhood regions. Kristina Prunerova (NEAR B2) presented the tools available to work on gender, youth, civil society and human rights in the Southern Neighbourhood. This regional day ended by a meeting with focal points posted in Southern Neighbourhood country with Kristina Prunerova, to discuss their experiences on the ground and the prospect for more structured cooperation from a regional point of view, based on the specific needs, aims and capacities of each delegation.
