Workshop on the digital platform of support to exporters in Tunisia

A user-centric digital platform is needed to support small- and medium-size exporters in Tunisia access to support instruments. This was the aim of the workshop hosted by the MED MSMEs programme in Tunisia on 16 March.

On 16 March 2023, the MED MSMEs Programme supported and hosted a workshop organised by the Ministry of Trade and Export Development on the establishment of a user-centric digital platform that facilitates access to support instruments for small- and medium-sized enterprises/exporters in Tunisia. 

In addition to the representatives of the Ministry of Trade, the main institutional and private actors in the export ecosystem in Tunisia were present, in particular: the Customs Administration (Tunisian Customs), the Ministry of Transport (Ministry of Transport), the Ministry of Agriculture (Ministry of Agriculture – Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture), the National Metrology Agency (National Metrology Agency – Tunisia) and the APII (Agency for Promotion of Industry and Innovation APII INFOS), APIA (APIA – Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency, UTICA (UTICA Tunisia), INNORPI (INNORPI), CONECT (Confederation of Tunisian Citizens’ Enterprises), the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis, GIZ (GIZ Tunisia), Expertise France (Expertise France) and the Delegation of the European Union to Tunisia (European Union to Tunisia).
