On 16 February 2023, the Water and Environment Support (WES) in the Southern neighbourhood region project held the online kick off of its sub-regional activities aimed at identifying small scale “model” approaches of separate collection and recycling of plastics in Lebanon & Palestine for further replication. The event provided a platform for experts from both countries to provide an overview of the situation and of the activities to be carried out in the framework of the project. 

The event included presentations by experts involved in the project and by representatives of ministries and agencies of the two countries.
