The 3rd Strategic Cooperation Forum of Euromed Police took place on 17 and 18 November in the Hague. 

The aim of this high-level event, which brings together EU Member States, EU Institutions and agencies and Southern Partner Countries (SPCs),  was to consolidate the networks between the Middle East and North Africa and the EU in the fight against serious and organised crime.

The third edition of the forum focused on criminal threats ranging from cyberattacks and financial crimes to migrant smuggling,  trafficking in human beings and drugs. The spotlight was on the cooperation instruments available to step-up the capacity to fight these types of crimes and increase safety on both sides of the Mediterranean.
