The Fifth Cairo Water week convene during the period of 16-19 October 2022. This main edition theme was “Water at the Heart of Climate Action” through five sub-themes overarching a broad spectrum of water for climate change adaptation and Mitigation. The CWW is considered a preparatory platform for COP27. The CWW outcomes shall feed into the COP 27 water thematic day . In this regards, and as a strategic partner to the CWW for the fifth year in a row , The EU  hosted a series of high-level regional events together with the UFM, African Development Bank (AFDB), Ministry of International Cooperation (MOIC), and Finnish Water Forum.
