The meeting between Eurostat and national statistical institutes from Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia, so called Forum of Euro-Mediterranean Statisticians, is organised and hosted annually by Eurostat.

The Forum shared updates on recent statistical developments and discussed the regional statistical programme MEDSTAT V (2022-2025), funded from the European Neighbourhood Instrument. Building on 25 years of Euro-Mediterranean regional statistical cooperation, MEDSTAT V supports the national statistical systems of the Southern Neighbourhood countries to develop, produce and disseminate reliable and comparable gender disaggregated economic, social and environmental statistics.
