The festival displayed a plethora of talks, debates, projections, discussions, concerts, readings and animations, and brought together a multiplicity of stakeholders, including civil society actors, researchers, artists, journalists, entrepreneurs and politicians. The participants gathered to discuss different topics including human rights, democracy, social cohesion, women in society, the climate crisis and the green transition, and to showcase stories of active citizenship in the Mediterranean.

In this context, Clima-Med Junior Expert, Paul Tabet, participated as a speaker and introduced the project in its various components: the engagement with ministries and local actors for the development of national strategies, the support provided at the municipal level for the development of their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SEACAPs), the implementation of pilot projects and the resource mobilisation.

The festival was Co-organized by the Med Dialogue Programme and the City of Catania.
