The implementing partner for this action, INTERPOL presented the successful actions undertaken since the launch of the project in 2017.  The project has notably contributed to the expansion of the I-24/7 secured communicated network, which links law enforcement in all member countries and enables authorized users to share sensitive and urgent police information with their counterparts around the globe.

The greatest achievements of the project are to be reported in Algeria and Lebanon from where all (35 & 11) border crossings including airports, seaports and land borders  are now performing real time screening of travel document information against  INTERPOL Stolen Lost Travel Document database (travel and identity documents).  In addition, the Advanced Passenger system in Lebanon has been linked with INTERPOL to enhance border security by screening airlines manifest data against INTERPOL SLTD  upon pre-arrival and departure of all passengers and crew members.
