EuroMeSCo publishes a series of papers of the Annual Conference

Coinciding with the 1st anniversary of the New Agenda for the Mediterranean, EuroMeSCo has launched a series of papers that tackle several topics concering the current situation in the coutries of the Mediterranean region.

Four papers have been released:

  1. Paradoxical Africanisation of Libya after 2011. Growing Influence of Sub-Saharan African Government, Rebel, Diplomatic and Criminal Actors in the Post-Gaddafi State by Jędrzej Czerep(PISM - The Polish Institute of International Affairs)
  2. Youth Unemployment in the South of the Mediterranean: A Chronic Challenge to Development and Stabilityby Hussein Suleiman (ACPSS - Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies)
  3. The EU Green Deal. A new momentum for democratic governance in the MENA region?by Dina Fakoussa (DGAP - German Council on Foreign Relations)
  4. Building Resilience Blocks: How to Improve the Quality of Work for the Egyptian Construction Precariat? by Hanaa Ebeid (ACPSS - Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies) and Salma Hussein (Friedrich Ebert Stiftung MENA Regional Office).
