The Minister of Culture of Italy, in association with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, invites culture leaders of the European Union and of the Mediterranean to meet in Naples on the 16th and 17th of June, to join in a conversation on how to better protect, to enhance and to valorise the precious culture, heritage and landscape of the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Project Sharaka is organizing a Regional Workshop on Tackling Emerging Terrorism Trends in the Middle East and Africa that will be hosted in Cairo from 23-25 May 2022. The event is organized by the INTERPOL Counter Terrorism Directorate together with the United Nations Office for Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) – ‘Countering Terrorist Travel Programme’.

The conference is organised on 12 and 13 May in Athens. The event will bring criminal justice practitioners from South Partner Countries and European Union Member States together with representatives of EU JHA Agencies, International Organisation and other EuroMed Justice stakeholders to exchange experience, operational challenges and best practices on preventing, investigating, prosecuting and adjudicating migrant smuggling offences.

The extended European information network on drugs and drug addiction (Reitox) will take place on 11 May in an hybrid format. There will be presentations/interventions from Algeria, Lebanon and Ukraine.
