The UfM co-presidency (EU/Jordan) convened its second quarterly Senior Officials meeting of 2024, attended by a large number of participants. The meeting focused on  political statements from Palestine, Israel and Türkiye on the war in Gaza, and on updates on activities and sectorial cooperation. It also allowed to discuss next steps regarding the UfM reform, started last year, including approval of new guidelines on regional platforms and the role of UfM in reconciliation in the region and the renewal of UfM Roadmap of 2017.

In the afternoon the ALF Board of Governors met to discuss the nomination of the next Chair person; to present the audited 2023 financial statements and to share updates on the work and impact of the organisation in 2024.
