The UfM Transport Connectivity Platform and its Thematic Working Groups were held on 3-4 October 2023. The meetings mark the re-launch of transport cooperation and the implementation of the new Regional Transport Action Plan for the Mediterranean region (RTAP) for the period 2021-2027. The event has gathered national transport coordinators and focal points for land, air and maritime transport and logistics from technical line ministries of UfM Member States including from Southern Neighborhood Partner Countries.

UfM Member States provided updates on their progress regarding the implementation of the actions presented under each component of the thematic subsectors. They also deliberated on their priorities and anticipated challenges pertaining to transport priority sectors as per the new RTAP and Declaration.
