The EU's Eastern and Southern neighbours gathered in Tbilisi on 27-30 June in order to exchange best ideas for developing a nascent impact economy, backed by the presence of several Units of DG NEAR.

The aim of EVPA’s Impact in the Neighbourhood conference was to connect stakeholders from the two neighbourhood region in which EVPA implements ‘social economy’ programmes and discuss common challenges of impact investment and countries' ecosystem. Around 150 participants attended the event, with vibrant sessions and debates taking place throughout the 3 days. In parallel, the first Steering Committee of the ‘Impact Together’ project in the Southern Neighbourhood took place after the six first months of implementation.
