The WES project delivered a report of its technical assistance provided to the Ministry of Environment (MoE) of Lebanon, which took place from March 2021 to September 2022. The assistance focused on prevention/abatement of industrial pollution. In that framework,  WES proposed revisions and comments to the MoE’s environmental guidelines for the establishment and operation of specific industries within the food sector (dairy, slaughterhouses, cow farms, meat processing, beverages) and the construction sector (concrete masonry, cutting stone, asphalt, concrete, paints).
