The MED MSMEs Programme contributed to the conference on "Improving access to #financing for SMEs in the Mediterranean region" by sharing the Programme’s findings and recommendations as regards the role of innovative finance and fintech. Organized by the European League for Economic Cooperation-MED, it featured prominent speakers, including Mrs. Valérie DREZET-HUMEZ, Representative of the European Union in France, who recalled the commitment of the #EU towards the #Neighbourhood South, "which is embodied by the new Agenda for the Mediterranean which is resourced to the tune of 7 billion euros”, Mrs. Daniela BECKMANN, President of the #SANAD Fund for MSME, Mr. Tahar BEN HATIRA, President and CEO, #SOTUGAR, Mrs. Nermine EL TAHRI, Former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Egypt and Mr. Philippe de FONTAINE VIVE, Honorary Vice-President of the EIB European Investment Bank.
