DG NEAR approved the extension of the MED MSMEs Programme’s implementation period until April 2023 to allow capitalizing on the momentum created and further engage stakeholders.

This 12-month extension will focus on deepening activities in the field of access to finance and digitalization by supporting actions at national level stemming from the priorities identified through the working groups. Restitution and exchange of experiences will be organized at regional level, hopefully through study tours and regional events.

The Programme will also work on a sustainable and interactive platform to support the Regional Platform for Industrial Cooperation on MSMEs at technical level. The Community of Practice project that is under its design phase will be presented to stakeholders on March 30, 2022.
